Thursday, August 28th
Alan wants to know if his friend Judy
had a
nice holiday.
She
went to Pontypool with her parents
as usual.
Yet, she never
spent
a
worse
holiday. She encountered[d]
too many problems.
+
It rained[d]
everyday !
She
stayed[d]
in her caravan.
She
played[d]
cards.
The
weather
was
awful.
-
She
didn't
see her friends.
She
didn't go
to the beach.
She
didn't have
a good time.
She
didn't do
anything interesting.
The weather
wasn’t
nice.
Alan is surprised because she
used[d]
to like
going there.
She
used
to
spend three weeks on the beach.
She usually enjoyed herself a lot.
She
used
to
have fun.
She
can't bear Pontypool any more.
