Alan wants to know if his friend Judy had a nice holiday.

She went to Pontypool with her parents as usual.

Yet, she never spent a worse holiday. She encountered[d] too many problems.

She stayed[d]  in her caravan.

She played[d]  cards.

The weather was awful.

She didn't see her friends.

She didn't go to the beach.

She didn't have a good time.

She didn't do anything interesting.

The weather wasn’t nice.

 

Alan is surprised because she used[d] to like going there.

She used to spend three weeks on the beach.

She usually enjoyed herself a lot.

 She used to have fun.

 

She can't bear Pontypool any more.
