Unit 2, Lesson 1

Kevin is with his mother. They aren't at home.

They're in their car.

They're talking about Kevin's teachers.

He likes his biology teacher. He thinks Mrs Conrad is strict but she's interesting.

Kevin and his friends have got a new English teacher this year.

They don't like him at all. They think Mr Gannon is bad tempered and boring.

Mr Dixon doesn't teach math. He's Kevin's P.E. teacher.

Kevin thinks he's not fair that's why they don't like him very much. He's very strict.

They quite like their history teacher because Mrs Spader is cool and tolerant.

Kevin thinks the art teacher is all right. Her classes are interesting.  He likes her because she's good tempered.

Gordon wants to know what Kevin does during his free time.

He asks : "What do you do in your free time ?"

Gordon wants to know if he plays cards.

He often plays Scrabble and Monopoly  with his family.

Gordon sometimes plays Monopoly but he never plays Scrabble.

Gordon

never does crosswords whereas Kevin sometimes does crosswords with his father.

Gordon often plays cards with his friends.

Kevin sometimes plays cards with his sister because she likes cards.

Kevin wants to know if Gordon does puzzles.

Gordon never does puzzles because he thinks they're for babies.

Kevin doesn't agree. He thinks they can be very complicated. He always gets a jigsaw puzzle for Christmas.

Gordon's favourite game is Trivial Pursuit whereas Kevin never plays Trivial Pursuit because he hasn't got one.
